Training Standards

It is very difficult to try and categorise a dogs training standard. However in order to try and give you some idea of what we have for sale and for you to understand what you want from your dog we have layed out the following training standards.

LEVEL 2 BASIC

This is where the dog has now

Been named
Taught to sit on command
Walk to heel on a lead
Retrieve a thrown object be it a dummy or tennis ball.

At this level the gundogs are trained to retrieve a dummy from approx 15 yards progressing to 20 yards after. This is undertaken over the course of 2 weeks or until the gundog has mastered this level.
