Training Standards

It is very difficult to try and categorise a dogs training standard. However in order to try and give you some idea of what we have for sale and for you to understand what you want from your dog we have layed out the following training standard.

LEVEL 7 SEASONED

The dog has now to be finished before its experience can be gained. The training will now include

All that of the Fully Trained dog and
A full season in the beating line or gun/picking up

Here at Torngat Gundogs we never consider a dog to be fully trained, that is to say a dogs training is never complete. However to obtain this title a dog must have completed a season in the line be it the beating line for spaniels or gun/picking up line for the Labradors.
